Notifications: Know if something’s wrong

Getting a notification

The base station is designed to notify you with light and sound if your child’s readings are out of the normal range or if monitoring is interrupted.

Notification types

Flashing Yellow
Sock has fallen off or is improperly placed.

Flashing Blue
Sock out of range, out of battery, or the signal is being blocked.

Flashing Red
Heart rate or oxygen levels are outside specified limits.

Low Oxygen
Child’s oxygen has dropped below 80%

Low Heart Rate
Child’s heart rate goes below 60 beats per minute when oxygen is also below 85%

High Heart Rate
Child’s heart rate goes above 220 beats per minute

Note: If you have your baby wear the sock while feeding, you may get red notifications as oxygen naturally decreases and heart rate rises at this time

Snoozing a notification

When you get a notification you can snooze the sound with a short press on the base station or in the app. The light ring with continue to show on the base as the notification remains in effect until the condition is resolved.

Turning off monitoring

We recommend that you charge the sock whenever not monitoring, but if you ever want to turn off monitoring, press and hold the base station until the light ring goes out and you hear a chirp. A short press will turn on the base station again.
